Darth Revan is a prominent figure in the universe, specifically within the era. His first appearance was in the video game *Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic*.
Originally a Jedi Knight, Revan, along with his friend Malak, defied the Jedi Council and ventured into the Unknown Regions to confront the Mandalorian threat. This experience profoundly changed him.
Revan ultimately fell to the dark side, becoming a Sith Lord and forming his own Sith Empire. He waged war against the Galactic Republic. However, he was betrayed by Malak and subsequently captured. Stripped of his memories, Revan was given a new identity by the Jedi and tasked with helping them defeat his former Empire.
Despite his redemption, Revan's past continued to haunt him, leading to further conflict and exploration of his complex character throughout the storyline.
